Isla Mujeres, Mexico is a small island off the East coast of the Yucatan Peninsula near Cancun. There are many needs with the local population, and there are some wonderful people helping in the areas of health, education, special needs, and language skills, as well as the animal overpopulation issues.  The umbrella organization helping in many areas is a non-profit group called Peace, and you can learn more about them at www.peace-islamujeres.org, as well as our wonderful friend Molly on the West coast of Mexico, her site is www.peacemexico.org.
